NA VERDAL

CONCEPT & DESIGN

A UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE COMBINED WITH TRADITION AND NATURE.

A hidden treasure designed solely for non-conformists who are not only looking for an attractive design, but for those who go further and also find a balance between culture and architectural beauty.

Away from urban centers, it becomes a refuge where you can escape, where you can connect with the island and feel its magnetism. Escape from reality, thanks to the integrative architecture and surroundings.

Let life flow was the premise about the interior design that was sought in the house from the beginning. Congenial day to day with the family unit. The lightness with which the interior spaces were designed is key to guaranteeing fluidity and continuity between the different areas and rooms of the house, as well as connecting interior and exterior with distinctive and unique elements in order to also favor natural lighting throughout the house.

Neutral colors predominate in Na Verdal, as they harmonize the environments with each other, together with natural materials, guarantee simplicity and naturalness in the space.

In this way we achieve the conjunction of a simple but formal language and a perfectly studied functionality that undoubtedly produces a total sensation of harmony in Na Verdal. Live the present without forgetting the past, preserving the roots of the Majorcan tradition. This is how Na Verdal was conceived, designed and built.

ALQUERIA BLANCA

A charming town, full of history and corners where the passage of time has stopped. Alquería Blanca is part of the municipality of Santanyí, which is less than five minutes away by car.

Strolling through its streets, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the town square, meeting its people and feeling the energy that this small but wonderful town gives off is essential.

The name "Alquería Blanca" comes from Arabic, from when the islands were occupied by Muslims until 1229 and means country house dedicated to work, away from the towns.

Alquería Blanca was a strategic point for piracy in the south of the archipelago, it served as surveillance and warning when attacks were suffered in the southern part of the island.

Although in the beginning it was not recorded as a settlement, it was not until 1641 when the "Monasterio de la Mare de Deu de la Consolación" was built on top of a hill, since piracy was no longer a serious problem in the area and the family Rigo de Can Timoner settled at the foot of the monastery and began to dedicate to agriculture, especially the cultivation of cereals.

Nowadays, visiting the Mare de Deu de la Consolació Monastery in the town is practically mandatory, it is not difficult to fall in love with the place, as it has spectacular and exclusive views from where you can see the entire Southeast of the island. In addition, from there you can do countless hiking trails.

In Alquería Blanca, you can enjoy local cuisine and traditions. The town square is the heart of Alquería Blanca, the nerve center. There, every Tuesday the weekly market is held, also in its surroundings there are several bars and restaurants, without forgetting the different ovens and traditional pastry shops, of special mention is "Can Terrasa" famous for its ensaïmadas, without a doubt an irresistible pleasure that can only be can find here.
